How to Use Food Combining Guidelines

This episode explains the basics of food combining and how to use these guidelines for:_
@ best health
@ energy
@ Normal weight
@ and   all come from good digestion and good absorption.

Remember
The types of foods you eat and the amounts you eat them , both play a role in the creation of proper health, energy and  normal weight, or lack thereof.

O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess. (Surat Al-A'raf [verse 31]

Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "No man fills a container worse than his stomach. A few morsels that keep his back upright are sufficient for him. If he has to, then he should keep one-third for food, one-third for drink and one-third for his breathing."

[At-Tirmidhi].

But how you combine your foods, as part
of your meals is also important

consider, as different types of food require:_
@ different enzymes
@ different pH levels
@and different digestion  times.

Food combining is based on the concept that:-
* certain foods go well together and complement each other biochemically.

while
* others interfere with each other’s
digestion resulting in many problems, like :-
@malabsorption of nutrients
@ fatigue
@mental fog
@ bloating
@ indigestion
@excess or unpleasant gas
@constipation or diarrhea
@ toxicity and food sensitivities.

Ibn  alqaium aljauzy says
Diseases are of two types: physical diseases which are about excess of substance: they are excessive in the body until they are harmful to its natural actions, which are the majority diseases.  And its reason
@the introduction of food on the body before the first digestion
@the increase in the amount needed by the body
@and eating foods that are of low utility ,slow to digest
@ and many different foods have various compositions.
If a human laden his stomach from these foods, and he used to do so - he inherited various diseases, including slow or fast

If he mediates the food, consumes it as much as he needs, and it is moderate in its quantity and quality - the utilization of the body by it was much more than the use of food

And the levels of food are three: (one of them): the order of need, (the second) the rank of sufficiency, (and the third): the rank of virtue.  Then he told the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: that he suffices him for the values that make up his crucifixion, so his strength does not fall and does not weaken with it.  This is most beneficial for the body and the heart: if the stomach is filled with food, it is restricted from drinking.  If he drinks it: he is distressed and subjected to distress and fatigue, and his load becomes his home carrying a heavy load.  This is due to what is needed: from the corruption of the heart, the sluggishness of prey from obedience, and its movement in the desires that satisfy it.
Full belly food is harmful to the heart and body . This is if it is permanent or more.

😂😂So😂😂

😂If you have poor digestion
😂or would like to improve
😂or support your digestive system’s function and your energy levels

here are the most useful and important
food combining guidelines:

 In general
@ fruits should be consumed on their own, on an empty stomach either before or in between  main meals, as they are the fastest and easiest to digest

Allah's statement,

And with fruit that they may choose. And with the flesh of fowls that they desire.

meaning, whatever fruits they wish for will be distributed among them.

This Ayah is a proof that we are allowed to choose the fruits that we prefer and wish to eat
And fruits should eat before protein meals

@Some fruits combine well with leafy greens, for example as part of green smoothies, and some can be paired with real grains, such as a bowl of oatmeal or buckwheat.

@ Non-starchy vegetables combine well with starchy vegetables, such as asparagus with potatoes.

@ Most vegetables also combine well with beans and real grains, for meals like veggie soups, chilis and whole-meal salads.

@ Animal foods, like meat or eggs combine well with most water-rich vegetables, but not starchy vegetables or grains.

** If you eat such foods, having some meat or eggs with a common salad would be fine,
** where as having them with potatoes, rice or bread would not.

@Isolated and concentrated fats, like oils do not go well with most foods high in starch or protein.

So

Eat healthy fats from whole plant foods instead, like nuts, seeds, avocados, coconuts and olives, predominantly with vegetables.

Overall, simple meals and ones made of whole, real plant foods are the best, rather than meals made of many different foods, refined foods or animal foods.

 Note,
that food combining is not nutrient combining
and some food combining guidelines can be faulty, complicated or impractical by focusing on isolated nutrients too much.

Food is a collection of nutrients, not a single nutrient.

Beans, for example, are high in both protein and starch, and animal foods are high in both protein and fat.

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 24

Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it):

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 25

For that We pour forth water in abundance,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 26

And We split the earth in fragments,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 27

And produce therein corn,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 28

And Grapes and nutritious plants,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 29

And Olives and Dates,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 30

And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees,

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 31

And fruits and fodder,-

Chapter 80 He Frowned سورة عبس - Abasa: Verse 32

For use and convenience to you and your cattle.

Then

Be sure, therefore, to use conscious discernment with any food combining guidelines you

choose and most importantly pay attention to how your body feels.
Listen  to your body well, this's will guide  you to your needs
